Eight weeks on the decks, built around you.
The programme is for young people aged 16 to 25 who are facing barriers. That includes those who are not in education, employment or training, and those dealing with poor wellbeing or isolation.
There is no cost to take part and no experience needed. Professional equipment is provided. A cohort is eight people, meeting twice a week for two-hour sessions, 32 hours in total.

What happens next.
The programme is a start, not an end. In the final phase, every participant sets personal goals and we help them plan what comes after: education, training, work or volunteering. We signpost and support people towards those next steps rather than leaving them at the door.
We are also planning alumni and peer mentoring, so graduates can stay connected and support the next cohort. This is planned, not yet running.
How we measure progress.
We work to a Theory of Change and ask participants to self-assess their confidence, wellbeing and sense of belonging at the start, at the end, and three months later. We also track attendance and progression into education, training, employment or volunteering, and we follow up with every participant at three months.
